Other Recommended Walks On The Causeway Coast Beaches -
Five of Europe's Blue Flag beaches can be found on the Causeway coast. Benoneis a seven mile stretch of fine sand backed by dunes and dramatic 750ft cliffs. The Portstewart Strand, owned by the National Trust, is a beautiful two mile stretch which is also very popular with families. The West Strand at Portrush lies adjacent to the resort flanked by a picturesque promenade whilst the East Strand runs from the town out to the White Rocks. The beach in Ballycastle Bay offers magnificent views of fair head (Northern Ireland's most northerly point) and Rathlin Island. Enjoy a walk however on any of the coastlines beaches, the more remote sands of the Downhill, White Park Bay and the White Rocks offer walks to suit all moods and seasons.All beaches are easily accessible and have car-parking facilities nearby. Leslie Hill Heritage Farm ParkBallymoney, County AntrimNestled away in the sleepy market town of Ballymoney, Leslie Hill provides an excellent stop off point to break a journey, stretch your legs and have a cup of tea in their tea rooms. A play park is available for the children and a leisurely walk around the estate and buildings will be most rewarding. The Ulster Way560 miles long, throughout Ulster (But don't worry you don't have to walk it all)The Ulster Way is a mapped and recommended route for hikers including most of the Causeway Coast and all of the provinces six counties. Maps are available at any tourist office as a rough guide although more detailed maps will be required if you want to walk the exact route. The Moyle WayGlenariff to Ballycastle, County AntrimThis walk although steep in places takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of the Glens from Glenariff it winds it's way into the resort of Ballycastle.
